Sister Rosetta Delores Jackson was born on February 13, 1948 in Dothan, Alabama. At an early age she relocated to Tampa, Florida. Ms. Jackson enjoyed cooking enjoyable meals, bowling, fishing, and was a faithful worshiper of College Hill C.O.G.I.C. She retired from Hillsborough County Public Schools after more than 30 years. Rosetta transitioned peacefully from this earthly life on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Essie Jackson, Brothers Clarence Jackson, Pecola Jackson (Harrison), Robert Grant, Jesse Jackson, John Henry Jackson, Juanita Jackson (Spencer).
Sister Jackson is survived by one brother, Walter Jackson (Jeanette), of Anderson, Indiana, four sons, Bobby Gadson, Jr, of Tampa, FL., William Gadson (Katrina), of Raleigh, NC., Willie Davis Jr., of Tampa, FL., Keyvis Washington (Dorine), of Tampa, FL., Eleven grandchildren, Four great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and a very special friend, Kenneth Washington of Orlando, FL.
