Sharon Jones Walker was born on February 17, 1959 to Sal Mason & Annie Lloyd. In her last days she made sure that she stayed in touch with her immediate family.  She loves her children and family and would do what she could for them. She would call to see how everyone was doing even though she was suffering silently within. She was vibrant each time we talked with her; she was never found complaining about her condition. Her husband was always right by her side, doing what he could to make sure she was comfortable. Her favorite color was blue and she loved food. What I want everyone to remember is that she was a beautiful person with a heart of gold. She loved God and people. On Tuesday September 6, 2021, early in the morning, she began her transition out of here. She had her last fight with sickness and the Lord released her to come home.

Sharon Jones Walker was preceded in death by her mother Annie L. Hargrove, her father Mr. Sal Mason, and one brother.  Leaving to mourn her transition is her devoted husband of 22 years, Mr. Willie Walker of Tampa, Florida; three children: Joseph, Laura of Florida, and Marcus (Catrina) of Texas; three sisters: Ms. Bertha Willis, Illinois, Ms. Mary Gayle McPherson, CT and Ms. Sallie Tillman-Watson, Florida; one brother: Mr. Elso Lloyd of CT; four grandchildren, Tay, Eric, Leroy, Jasmine Keel, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces; nephews, other relatives and friends.
