Ms. Valerie Hernandez, of Ozark, Alabama, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021. Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 11:00 am Rest Haven 4615 E Hanna Ave Tampa, with Minister Kobi Gainous, Officiating. (MASKS ARE REQUIRED).

Ms. Valerie Hernandez was a native of Tampa, Florida, and grew up in Progress Village. She later movedto Ozark, Alabama to embark on a new adventure. She attended East Bay High School and graduated in the class of 1980.She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Gainous, mother Vernice Jean Hernandez; Grandmother, Lula Mae Hernandez, and Grandparents VanCuran and Rebecca Gainous. Uncles, Shelly Gainous Sr., VanCuran Gainous Jr. Aunts Shirley Warmack, Wilhemenia Hernandez-Allen, and Gloria Gainous.

Valerie leaves to cherish her memory and mourn her passing, a loving and devoted son James Markese Lang Hernandez ; devoted brother Kyle Gainous (Melissa) and Kale Gainous; one sister, Konneeceeless Johnson ( Rashard): Uncles and Aunts; Gwendolyn Gordon (Fred),Dorothy Hernandez (Alvin), Mildred Hernandez-Stevenson (Homer),Charles Hernandez (Carolyn),Keith Hernandez (Alexandra),Anthony Pittman (Annie),Oscar Gainous Sr, Twila Gainous, Antonio Gainous (Rosaland),Keith Gainous (Christine),Vanessa Grace (Derrick),Gail Gainous, Helen Gainous, Great Aunt Catherine Gainous; and a host of other sorrowing nieces and nephews, cousins, family members , friends and loved ones.

The remains will repose from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm on Friday, August 27,2021, at Aden Funeral Home
