Mrs. Cheryl Sanders-West was born to Gladys Curry and the late Henry Sanders Jr. on March 8, 1956 in Tampa, FL. She attended public schools in Hillsborough County. Cheryl resided in Tampa, FL with her husband George West Sr. until she departed this life on July 17, 2020.

Cheryl leaves fond memories in the hearts of: her husband, George West Sr; 2 daughters Ulrica (Stacy) Ralph and Mia Sanders; 1 granddaughter Orianna Ralph; 1 son-in-law, Stephan Ralph; daughter-in-law, Rashone Davis (Mia), 1 grandson, Derrick Dorsey (Mia); Mother, Gladys Curry; 2 sisters, Patricia and Beverly Bostick; nephew, Adonis Bostick; 2 nieces, Atara Bostick and Kiara Echevarria; 3 great nieces, Khariya Richards, Joh’nayie Filmore and Aniyah Bostick; 1 great nephew, Danequan White; 2 special devoted sisters, Loretta Saunders and Sharon Stubbs, all of Tampa, FL and a host of other relatives and friends.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

But you did not go alone.

For part of us went with you on the day God called you home.

We are thankful for our many bountiful years,

We are thankful for the love you have shown,

But now its time you traveled on alone.

We love you, but God loved you best.

And though we can’t see or touch you,

We know that you are near, 

Surrounding us with your love, soft and clear.
