Tiye Quaseima Clayton January 22, 1975 – October 2, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of Tiye Quaseima Clayton (aka Zakiyyah Muhammad) born January 22, 1975, announce her passing on October 2, 2020. Tiye is the beloved daughter of Claude T. Clayton and Habeebah Muhammad (maiden name: Fay P. Nicholson). She is the devoted mother of Jenna Imani Clayburn and Raani Nia Clayton. Tiye is survived by nine siblings; sisters: Taqiyyah S. Ellis, Katrina A. (Clayton) Morrison, Yusrah W. Hasan, Maryam M. Muhammad, Rhainy Clayton-Cole, Asiyah K. Muhammad; and three brothers: Thomas C. Clayton, Abdul-Hakeem I. Hasan, and Mutasim H. Muhammad. Tiye will be forever remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who loved her deeply. Tiye’s last known residence is Sarasota, FL in Manatee County. Janazah and burial service for Tiye Q. Clayton was held on October 6th, 2020 at 10 am at the Sunset Gardens Cemetery, in Thonotossasa, Florida where she is laid to rest.
